Personality: Kabun is, most of the time, a happy-go-lucky sort of individual. He adores all varieties of weapons and has names for all of the ones in his arsenal. He is also generous and always ready to lend a hand when his aid is needed. However, when it's time to get down to business, Kabun's personality disturbingly (almost comically) changes and he becomes focussed, determined and disciplined to a degree that can be best described as obsessive. He is even willing to let some people suffer if it means achieving whatever his current goal is.

Goals: To serve the people of Kumo and the Raikage.
Alignment: Good, although is sometimes draconically pragmatic.

History: Kabun was born in a small village in Lightning Country to the son of a blacksmith who specialised in forging and fixing all kinds of weaponry. Even as a young boy, Kabun was fascinated by the tools of death that his father made and was soon brought into the trade, proving himself at the tender age of five as a prodigy. In a few short years he surpassed his own father's ability, creating several inspired weapons that sold at very high prices. The Zetsumei brand of weapon was soon widely coveted and Kabun's father had to hire several new assistants and buy more property to accommodate the massive surge of requests.

At the age of thirteen, Kabun left his home-town and started to wander the land, going from village to village and town to town, helping out when he was needed by lending that place his skills at forging metal. It was in one of these places that Kabun found a man called Master Ko, who showed the young blacksmith the art of using the weapons he made. At first, Kabun was unconvinced that he would need such skills. He was after all an inventor, not a warrior. However, after a group of off duty guards destroyed one of the stores that he had been helping, Kabun agreed to be trained.

He quickly mastered the techniques that Ko had to offer, and even began to learn the basics of molding chakra. Kabun discovered that by learning the discipline's that the old master offered, he was inspired to create another weapon for himself, one that only he would hold. It was at this time that Ko revealed his true purpose in the town. It turned out that he was the leader of a bandit faction that had wanted to raid the town for a while, but had not had the numbers. So instead, Ko infiltrated the walls to mark out the weakest points of the town for the other bandits to slip by and take the guards by surprise, winning the battle before it had a chance to begin. Ko had spent the rest of his time training Kabun in the hope that he would join them. He he refused, then he would provide a amusing distraction until the rest of his men took the town.

Kabun duly refused and killed his master in a matter a seconds with the techniques that Ko himself had taught him. It also was the first blooding of his new weapon, which Ko had not known about. Kabun hunted down and killed the rest of Ko's men single-handedly. The town, saved, praised him as a one man army. As it was, Ko and his men had a large bounty on their heads and Kabun collected this, giving it to the store that the off duty guards had destroyed.

After leaving the town Kabun continued his travels, but instead of simply helping the population with weapon manufacture, he learned where wanted criminals where and captured or killed them to collect the money, donating most of it to the towns and villages. After years of wandering, Kabun grew tired and settled down in Kumogakure, finding employment as a shinobi there. Whenever someone was posted up on the Bingo Books, Kabun hunted them down and slew and captured them, saying 'old habits die hard'. He donates most money to various projects in Kumo.
