History: The Tsuki Clan was initially a set of druids who worshipped the phases of the moon and based their entire lives on following the moon and its phases. Over the years, as Kirigakure grew – so did its enemies and the once peaceful clan of druids turned to relying on the moon for combat.

Using each phase and their ideology, the druids created a set of scriptures detailing powerful kenjutsu techniques for each phase of the moon – and teaching these techniques to all of their members. They achieved fame as being impossible to defeat in close combat but eventually almost all of the original druids were wiped out due to the lack of anything but sword techniques.

One special, gifted child watched his parents die at the hands of bandits with strong Katon jutsu and was traumatized – unlocking the fundamental concept of the modern Tsuki clan; the Tsukuyomi no Dou. With this eye the child copied the bandits’ fire techniques and used them to kill said bandits, training his eyes further and eventually achieving the Crescent status in each one before having a child and continuing the clan.

From then on, the Tsuki clan have only grown in combat prowess, utilizing their new eyes and their sword techniques to beat almost any opponent. Recently they have grown dislike due to their killing of an innocent woman to seal a bijuu into the latest ‘prodigy’ of the Tsuki clan, Tokoyame Tsuki. Tokoyame was not a naturally gifted individual, but through massive 24/7 training and sheer willpower he quickly became an almost unstoppable force.
