Description: The Saimin Suimin is a very useful genjutsu that works by separating an opponent from their motor controls and rendering them unconscious. The technique is resistible as it works via an ‘addiction’ method of induction - looking at the chakra which Saimin Suimin stems from leaves the image of a swinging golden pendant that leaves a delicate golden trail - the more you look at it, the more you want to look at it, and if you stare for long enough (7-8 seconds is enough for A ranked nin if Ra uses a moderate amount of Chakra) then you are placed under the genjutsu’s effect.

Weakness: The addiction principle. If you resist looking in the first place, you cannot be placed under the genjutsu’s hold.

Description: Hysteria is basically what it says on the tin. Hysteria induces a killing frenzy unto the enemy, and removes inhibitions/cautions that would otherwise keep a nin from doing anything brash. The genjutsu itself depends on the victim, but generally shows the death of everyone dear to the victim at the hands of the caster.

Weakness: Heavily reliant on an opponent’s emotions. If they can overcome the desire to kill, Hysteria is useless.

Description: Derangement causes a series of maddening whispers that drive an opponent to insanity if they are not removed or ignored. The genjutsu itself only affects the victim auditorally and modifies brainwaves, though. This genjutsu is specialised to break through even the strongest of resistances over time.

Description: Freezes an opponent’s vision in place, they will only see the same still picture they see as soon as the genjutsu is cast until it is dispelled.

Description: Chakra Burn is a very powerful genjutsu when used correctly - It forces an image of the opponent’s entire chakra being burned into their mind and if the opponent is in Ra’s chakra aura, they will feel the pain as well. This often disorients opponents as they cannot feel their chakra for a few seconds after the genjutsu is over.

Description: Forces an opponent to believe that they are sleeping, and that they wake suddenly only to be impaled by an array of icicles. Causes pain in the Chakra Aura.

Description: Banishes a single sense other than sight from the opponent. This is not unlike Vision Freeze, but it is much more realistic and fully removes the sense until the genjutsu is cancelled or dispelled.

Description: This technique is used to torture enemies mentally and break down resistances. Power scales with chakra used and is especially effective when Saimin Suimin is active. Enemies under the effect of torture will often do anything to remove it once resistances are broken - used for interrogation or to drive an enemy insane.

Description: The Total World Illusion controls all 5 senses of whomever steps into its' boundaries, quite simply. Four seals must be placed in a square around the area that is to be affected and chakra must be channeled through them. Then, the four seals create an area in which Ra's full genjutsu abilities become apparent - as she is able to control every tiny detail of a person's perception. This is an invincible genjutsu so long as the person stays within the boundary of the seals, as even if they remove the genjutsu from their mind it would be instantly reapplied.

Description: The Eien no Inkan allows the user complete control over their 5 senses. It can be used to free the user from ANY genjutsu by separating them from their senses temporarily - this means that the genjutsu will naturally dispel and the user can be returned to normal.
Weakness: Not really applicable, it’s a defensive seal. Chakra Cost, if anything.

Description: This seal has a positive or negative effect. The positive effect is that it restores the bearer’s eyesight to full capability if Ra so wishes, but the most common, negative use is to lock an opponent’s brainwaves. This quite literally means that a genjutsu is locked on an opponent and while the genjutsu itself can be removed, the effects (Whispers from derangement are removed, but the descent into insanity is locked where it is and continues to drive the victim insane at that intensity) cannot.

Description: This is Ra’s most powerful jutsu, but is used in every fight against someone of the same caliber. This seal binds a demonic presence to the user that hides on an opponent’s body and cannot be seen by the opponent due to its genjutsu effect, but influences them physically. Whatever happens in the genjutsu, the demon emulates to the best of its ability on the opponent. The real effects of the genjutsu caused by the demon do not break the genjutsu because the demon controls the flow of chakra to and from the brain, and its sensory information, which keeps it active.
Weakness: Massive chakra cost to apply and maintain.

Description: The Seal of Forbidden Sight is a very situational seal, but is useful nevertheless - Ra places the seals in front of her eyes, originally, and whomever looks into them first has their sight taken from them permanently if the seal remains active. This is specifically used to cripple users of eye techniques such as the Sharingan and Byakugan, to prevent Ra’s jutsu from being copied, or the genjutsu being reversed.
